What do sales staff need to know about OPC UA?

OPC UA has established itself as an indispensable technology in mechanical engineering and is increasingly being integrated into modern products, especially in combination with Companion Specifications. This technology offers a secure, standardized interface for communication between machines and software. Its focus on interoperability and security enables seamless integration into existing digital infrastructures and ensures long-term future security.

OPC UA gives machine operators access to advanced functions such as predictive maintenance and real-time data analysis without major integration effort.

This seminar will present basic OPC UA concepts as well as important sales arguments for demonstrating the advantages of interoperable interfaces to customers.

Using practical examples and proven VDMA methods, you will learn how your customers can benefit from OPC UA interfaces in your products, and how you can integrate the process model and OPC UA into your sales strategy to offer your customers real added value.
