The Aachen Forum on Gear Production (AFGP) is dedicated to a specific aspect of gear production. It is held annually in alternation with the Aachen Conference on Gear Production (ACGP), a comprehensive conference on gear technology organized in cooperation between the WZL of RWTH Aachen University, the Campus Forum, the Drive Technology Research Association (FVA e.V.) and FVA GmbH.
The topics covered range from work preparation to soft and hard fine machining, quality control, assembly and the operation of gears.
