The FVA-Workbench is designed to increase efficiency and reliability in day-to-day business by facilitating the rapid creation, calculation, and analysis of gearbox models. It provides support in the design and calculation of gearbox models and in the identification of causes of damage. The FVA-Workbench covers a broad spectrum, from simple standard load capacity calculations to the detailed analysis of individual contacts.

Our licensing model is flexible and can be tailored to your needs.
A Maintenance Subscription License is valid for 365 days. Additional license periods (quarter/half year/multiple years) are also available upon request. Usage, maintenance, support, and software updates for all licensed modules are included during the license period. All versions of the FVA-Workbench can be used with a single license.
There are three different FVA-Workbench editions, which differ in the scope of their standard configuration and the number of optional add-ons: Modeler, Extended, and Advanced. More information is available here: FVA-Workbench.
Licenses are sold as either client licenses (single user) or floating licenses (parallel users). In contrast to client licenses, floating licenses are not bound to a specific computer.

Client license (single user)
The license can only be used on a single computer, is bound to the hardware key used, and cannot be transferred to other hardware.
Floating license (parallel users)
With a network license, the FVA-Workbench can be installed on any number computers. Any number of users on the same network can share product licenses, up to the total number of purchased licenses. The FVA software must have a functioning network connection to the license server. In the event of client hardware changes, it is not necessary to apply for a new license.

Any FVA-Workbench edition can be upgraded to a higher version at any time. The FVA-Workbench stays up-to-date with the latest research through the strong support from the German research community and the FVA e.V. network. The FVA-Workbench computing platform and its underlying foundation are continually developed and driven by requirements from the industry. FVA GmbH provides professional software structures for these enhancements and complements them with innovative features for the best possible application in industrial practice.

Yes. If you want several users to be able to use the FVA-Workbench, a floating license is the right choice. With a network license, the FVA-Workbench can be installed on any number computers. Any number of users on the same network can share product licenses, up to the total number of purchased licenses. The FVA software must have a functioning network connection to the license server. It is not necessary to apply for a new license in the event of client hardware changes.
