Internal recipients

Within FVA GmbH, only those persons have access to your data who need it to fulfill the tasks within the scope of the purposes described in this declaration.

2. Data processing on our website

As a rule, you can visit FVA GmbH sites without us requiring any personal data from you. We receive only the name of your Internet service provider, the website from which you visit us, and the web pages you visit on our site.

2.1 Provision of the website and creation of log files

When visiting and using our website, we store certain log information in a file (log file), which contains personal data (URL accessed, IP address of the user, time and date of access, amount of data transferred, website from which the user came to the requested page [so-called "referrer"], website accessed by the user's system via our website, http status, information about the browser type and version used, user's operating system, user's Internet service provider). The processing serves our legitimate interests (Article 6 (1) f) GDPR) of improving the website, system security, and error diagnosis, as well as the creation of statistical evaluations. The log files are deleted 7 days after creation.

2.2 Data processing when you contact us via our contact forms or via e-mail

There is a contact form on our website which can be used to contact us electronically if you have general questions about us or our products. If you wish to contact us via this form, we will process the data provided in the input mask (name and surname, e-mail address, and optionally your company, telephone number, and your message).

Alternatively, you can contact us via the e-mail addresses provided on the website. In this case, personal data transmitted via the e-mail will be stored.

You also have the option of contacting us via a separate contact form if you are interested in a specific product. In this case, we will process your name and e-mail address.

In this context, no data will be passed on to third parties. The data is used exclusively for processing the conversation or the contact. Your data will be stored in our CRM system (Centralstation CRM) in order to process your request or in case of follow-up questions.

The legal basis for the processing of data transmitted in the course of sending an e-mail is Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR. If the e-mail contact is aimed at the conclusion of a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 b) GDPR.

If the user contacts us by email, they can object to the storage of their personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued. To object to the storage, either contact us using the contact form or send an e-mail to the addresses provided.

2.3 Data processing in the context of a seminar registration on the website

You have the option of registering for seminars on our website. As part of the registration process, you must provide the following mandatory information ("mandatory information"):

  • First name

  • Last name

  • E-mail address

  • Address details

  • Phone number

  • Company/organization

You may also provide voluntary information on your job title. Mandatory information in the registration form is marked with an asterisk and is required to complete the registration. We use the data you provide to register for our seminars. The legal basis for the processing of this data is the preparation or fulfillment of a contract with you in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 b) GDPR.

After completion of the contract, your data will initially be locked for further use and deleted after expiration of the statutory retention periods, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you below.

2.4 Data processing in the context of newsletter registration

You have the option of registering for our newsletter on our website. When you register for our newsletter, we process your e-mail address. When you register for our newsletter, we will send you a confirmation link to the e-mail address you have provided. You will only receive our newsletter after you have activated the link (double opt-in). We process this data for the purpose of sending the newsletter. The legal basis for the processing is your consent in accordance with Article 6 (1) a) GDPR. Your data will be stored for as long as the subscription to the newsletter is active. It will therefore be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose or as soon as you withdraw your consent.

Newsletter analysis

We may perform a statistical analysis of usage data for our newsletter. For this purpose, we may record the delivery rate, opening rate, click rate, conversion rate as well as the bounce rate and the unsubscribe and complaint rate of our mailings. This information is used to measure and optimize the success of our newsletter campaigns by making the content of the newsletter more relevant to our target group and optimizing the technical presentation of the newsletter. We do not use this information to observe and analyze the usage behavior of individual users. We are only interested in an aggregated statistical evaluation.

Newsletter service provider

We use the Newsletter2Go newsletter dispatch tool
to send and analyze our newsletter. The data collected during registration, dispatch, and analysis is transmitted to this service provider, which acts for us as a processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

2.5 Integration of third-party services

2.5.1 Cookies

We use cookies on our website to offer a comprehensive range of functions, to make it more convenient to use, and to optimize our offers. Cookies are small text files that are generated by a web server and stored on your computer during your online visit via your web browser. You can only prevent this if you log out of your YouTube account before viewing the video. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.

We use LinkedIn Insights for the purpose of demand-oriented design and continuous optimization of our offerings, as well as to display target group-oriented contributions in our LinkedIn profile.
