Dr. Ferdinand Wikidal shows how precisely the gear geometry can be determined and displayed with the FVA-Workbench in conjunction with ISO 21771:2014 and DIN 3960. The interactive graphics of the new feature enable easy assessment of the meshing and the prediction and, if necessary, elimination of meshing errors. Thanks to the new algorithms, these tasks can now be performed even faster, saving up to 20% computing time in the overall system.
